Artist Statement

I am an abstract landscape painter. In my work, I use both acrylic and oil.

The intuitive nature of my personality flows over into my art practice. I paint without reference materials or a preconceived outcome.

I am fascinated with clouds, fog, mist, rays of sunlight, water, marshlands, mountains, rolling pastures, and moody skies.

Peaceful moments and times of reflection are precious to me.  It brings me great joy when my paintings can provide an oasis of tranquility in which viewers find solace in this fast-paced world.

An important part of my practice is sharing the gift of creativity and inspiring others to explore their unique artistic expressions. 

Connection is at the core of everything I do, and painting allows me to connect with others who appreciate art and the value it brings to this world.
