A NEW CHAPTER…..

I have taken a big step this week…..one that was not easy to take, but was necessary (I believe)  in order to walk through doors that have been opening in recent months.

I have shied away from teaching for many reasons (not the least of which is I have been afraid to do it!).  The idea of painting in front of others excites & terrifies me.  One of the most inspiring things I have ever seen in my life was an artist who painted “Live” in front of a huge audience ……

I get shivers every time I watch this video.

By no means am I suggesting that I expect to be painting live on “America’s Got Talent” any time soon……that isn’t the point.  The point is that I am taking steps to make room for more time & energy to be devoted to teaching.  I feel called to inspire others to capture their full potential.  I am very ill equipped to do this on many levels, but when it comes to teaching art, I believe I have been given a gift that I can share.

Thank you for all of you who have encouraged me on this journey.  As the days, weeks & months ahead unfold, I expect there will be pretty awesome things happening!  (Either that or I’ll go back to working at an office job to help feed the boys
