Are you a new artist? I’d love to give you some insider tips on some of my favourite materials as a painter with over 25 years of experience:

My favourite paint brands:

Golden Acrylic paints and mediums
Gamblin Oil paints and mediums

My favourite brush brands:

I don’t care what brand, or even what medium a brush is meant for (oil, acrylic or watercolour), I choose my brushes based on how they FEEL. I am hard on my brushes, so my favourites all look Well Loved xo.

My favourite canvas / paper brands:

The finest you can afford. Never skimp on your materials or painting surface unless you are truly just playing and have no expectation of creating a finished, marketable piece.
