Why isn't beauty seen like art?

The sun is out, the beach is calling. It’s bathing suit season and for many of us, it’s a season we dread.

Society wants us to believe there is only one way to look, and this is such a lie.

Why isn’t beauty seen like art?

Artists are celebrated for being unique and original, and each creation tells a different story.

So, why can’t the uniqueness of our bodies be celebrated as well?

It helps me to think about my body as a shell or a container … it’s what’s inside that truly matters.

Celebrate and embrace the gifts you have, then put on that bathing suit and stand in YOUR sun.
